"Congratulations! The new look today is outstanding! The
site is probably the best looking newspaper online that I have seen. And from
a former photojournalist, that is a compliment. It looks and works GREAT! I would
even pay for this online, as I do for the San Jose Mercury News! Keep it up!"

"This is the best one-step improvement in web design and
organization that I have ever seen. Congratulations!"

The Press Democrat is a NY Times owned regional newspaper, daily serving the San
Francisco North Bay. They needed to integrate their vast resource of content and
information into a user friendly, online format. The challenge was to design a
look and feel that kept the consistency of their traditional newspaper format
while following the navigational conventions of online news delivery over the
Internet.
Raspberry Media successfully developed a solution for integrating the site's
core news feature links into a universal left navigation bar format, and the affiliate
co-branded sites into a right hand features column, all the while preserving space
for the database driven content display. Working closely with the newspaper's
online staff, Raspberry Media also developed a new logo, homepage and site template.
