Frequently Asked Questions
for Prospective Clients
The following information will give you an idea of what to expect when engaging
in a project with Raspberry Media.
Q: I am
interested in working with Raspberry Media, how do we get started?
A: After an initial review meeting
to discuss the project timeline, requirements and any budgetary concerns, Raspberry
Media will send a proposal with a cost estimate, list of deliverables, and project
timeline. Upon acceptance of the proposal, Raspberry Media will prepare a production
agreement for client review.
Q: We would
like Raspberry Media to provide a proposal and cost estimate but have not prepared
a requirements document listing the features we want?
A: If you have not prepared an outline
of the features you want on your site, we recommend that you spend a week or two
consulting with Raspberry Media to prepare a list of requirements for the project
prior to signing a Production Agreement. If this is the case, both parties will
sign a MOE (Memorandum of Engagement) specifying that the client has agreed to
hire Raspberry Media for initial needs assessment consultation only.
Q: Who will
work on my project and will they be qualified?
A: Raspberry Media is owned and operated
by a partnership of artists and designers who have worked together for over ten-years
on hundreds of projects. Raspberry Media founders, Josh Beggs and Ethan Allen
are directly involved in the day-to-day production tasks for every project. Raspberry
Media only works with a select group of three to four clients at a time. If requested,
project team members will be specified in the initial proposal as well as final
production agreement.
Q: How will
the communication and review process work?
A: Raspberry Media will create a password-protected
client extranet site for your project to facilitate the review and feedback process.
The site includes all new postings, final client deliverables, and team contact
information.
Q: What
if our business is located in a different city than Raspberry Media?
A: Over the years, we have found that
distance does not play a factor in the production process. Most communication
is generally conducted via email with an occasional conferance call to clarify
designs issues in realtime. Some of our most efficiently executed projects were
for out-of-state clients such as RewardDollars in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, HotOffice in Boca Raton,
Florida, and SouthPeak Interactive in Cary, North
Carolina.
Q: How do
we ensure that we are happy with the end result?
A: Raspberry Media excels at exceeding
client expectations and prides itself on taking all the necessary steps to ensure
you are completely satisfied. Raspberry Media guarantees that all final deliverables
meet professional industry standards in craftsmanship and quality and shall be
free of defects.
Q: What
is Raspberry Media's payment and approval process?
A: Projects are completed in several
phases with payments corresponding to the successful completion of specified milestones
and contingent upon client satisfaction. A one third prepayment is required at
the start of a project.
Q: Will
their be any extra fees incurred during the project not specified in the initial
cost estimate?
A: Extra revisions, change-orders,
or Web pages requested by Client beyond terms agreed to in this contract will
be billed hourly. Raspberry Media will obtain written permission from client before
performing additional billable work above and beyond the fee set forth in the
Work Order.

the quickest turnaround times in the industry. From signing of production agreement,
Raspberry Media averages an 8 to 12 week turnaround time.
