- SouthPeak Interactive, a major publisher of electronic adventure games
and CD-ROM reference titles, selected Raspberry Media to redesign and develop
a new e-commerce web site.
The redesign establishes a cutting edge online brand identity for SouthPeak
and streamlines the site navigation so gaming enthusiasts can quickly purchase
and access information about their favorite games. SouthPeak wanted to transform
a corporate "brochureware" site into a consumer oriented selling tool.
Raspberry Media helped SouthPeak focus their ecommerce strategy and implement
a design that allowed for one-click access to the hottest selling games.
"We've licensed technology that was developed at SAS Institute and housed
it in one of the largest video production facilities on the East Coast",
said South Peak Interactive President Armistead Sapp. "We're leveraging SAS
Institute's investment in research and development to enter the consumer entertainment
market. We've seen what's out there and decided to raise the bar a few notches.
Even though SouthPeak has a roster of high caliber designers and creative
artists they needed an experienced web savvy creative team that could deploy the
site in less than six weeks. Raspberry Media worked closely with SouthPeaks webmaster,
Tom Edds, to design and implement the front-end site architecture and design.
Digital River provided the e-commerce fulfillment and functionality for the new
site.
